I joined a summer reading book club at church. We meet Monday nights for 4 weeks. Of course I missed the first week due to some lame excuse that I had a hellacious day and just wanted to go home. I use this lame excuse alot and I miss out on alot! So, I have just spent 2 hours sitting at Starbucks reading Chapters 5 -10, preparing for tomorrow night’s discussion. It’s a good read for non-believers as well as believers. If you are interested, it is called, “Blue like Jazz, Nonreligious thoughts on Christian Sprituality” by Donald Miller.
For those of you that know me, know that I don’t like reading. I now read, but it has to be something that interests me and keeps my attention from page 1.
