I live in Northern Nevada, am married, have 3 married adult children and 5 grandchildren. I spend my free time either on the computer or watching TV. The rest of the time I’m at work or at church.
I was born and raised in Las Vegas. Uprooted my family to Lincoln, Nebraska when they were on the verge of starting junior high. Yes, it was definately culture shock. Moved back to Nevada when the baby graduated high school, then Marine boot camp.
We have a dog and a cat which are now our children. They seem to think we are their slaves. Let’s just say, they have us trained very well.
I am the baby of 5 children (1 brother and 3 sisters) and yes, it is true about the baby of the family … they get what they want … usually. However, I just have to say, my dad was 55 and my mom was 35 when I entered this world. Although I was a “surprise” at the beginning, everything else I did wasn’t a surprise to them. I had 4 siblings that broke mom and dad in. I think they were just glad to finally get me out of the house! Somehow, I cannot see my husband being a new daddy at 55 … just shoot me now!
Anyways, these are my scattered thoughts. Happy reading!

As a matter of fact that is. How’d she end up in the rival area of Nevada (Las Vegas)?

her trip here was a convoluted mess… sort of like our marriage which is ending… i think you may attend the church she and her family attended, too… spooky

LOL, definately a small world or state. I meant to tell you sorry to hear about your marriage ending. Since you both are Christians, is there no way it can be worked out? Hubby and I have been through so many almost splits. The last time which was almost 10 yrs ago, we were about to move to opposite ends of the country as we both had met other people.
I cannot tell you how we managed to stay together. All I can say is that it was Divine Intervention. With His help, we were able to see each other through new eyes.
