Breaks the heart

I was talking to our son tonight and he put our grand-daughter on the phone.  She told both me and her papa, that she missed us, loved us and wanted to go back to Vegas.  Her voice was so sad, it just breaks the heart.  Now mind you, she’s only 4 and she’s only been [...]

Our youngest grandchild

I came across this picture of our youngest grandchild in my phone’s camera.  He was fussy, so I rubbed his forehead and he fell asleep, holding on to my arm.  Melts the heart, doesn’t it?

Two nights in a row

Dang, I was hoping I would be so tired tonight that I would stay asleep all night.  Ssoooo not the case.  I was on such a high when I got home tonight, and when I went to sleep my brain would not shut down.  So I lay there body tired and brain racing!  I think [...]

Happy Birthday, Belle!

Happy Birthday, by the Beatles

Today, 11/5, is my daughter’s birthday.  She turned 28 today.  Our oldest daughter turned 29 in August.  Our son turned 26 in July.  How is it possible our children are on the down slope to 30?  *sigh*
How did you all do with the time change yesterday?  Other than turning the bathroom [...]

Are you a worshipper?

I receive daily emails from Greg Laurie.  He is with Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, CA., and has a 30 minute program on one of the Christian Channels here.    I must admit, sometimes I read them and sometimes I don’t.  Today, I opened the Harvest:Weekend email from him and the first line of the email [...]

Fog

The past couple of mornings, driving to work, I have driven through fog.  How many of you enjoy fog?  The real soupy kind  of fog that you cannot see anything in front of you?  It got me to thinking about life and how we cannot see what is ahead of us.  Who do you trust when [...]
